England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out of this summer's European Championship after suffering his second knee injury of the season.
Shame for the lad, but not a great loss for England. I was astonished to see he already has 24 caps!
England play Russia, Slovakia and Wales, and will be expected to top the group. It will be very interesting to see Hodgson's line-up.
Kane has to be the centre forward, with Vardy on the bench. Alli must be in as well, and probably Dier to bolster a shaky central defence. I've got Rose down for left back, but will Hodgson go for Walker or Clyne?
Is there a place for Sterling? Not in my book. Is there a place for Rooney? Probably to start with in midfield, but he'll need to deliver the goods to keep his spot.
Hodgson has a good squad, but he needs to forget old loyalties and pick the best team on form.
