Hello everyone at Hua Hin Forum, this is my first posting I would like to ask for your advice.
I have lived in Thailand for 4 years, the last 3 in Chiangmai,I would like to move to Hua Hin and would like some advice.
I have arranged to visit from the the 8th of June until the 18th June and I will be staying at the Golf Inn.
I am looking to Rent a 2 Bed and 2 Bathroom Unfurnished House with a Rent up to 20,000 Baht a month.
I want this to be a Permanent Rent and would appreciate any help or advice you can offer me,is it better to use an Agent or search for myself.
Ideally it would be better for me in Town but 4 to 5 Kilometers from Town on a Transport route would be fine,i also have a Bicycle which I would use.
Thank you for any help you can offer.
Kind regards,
John.

John, Many people ask similar advice and the advice given by many is usually decide yourself which area you would like to live and ride around that area as many houses that are for rent often have a sign outside with a phone number.
10,000 - 20,000 will get you a decent 2 bed house in a decent area but most rentals are already furnished.

Most of the agents here are next to useless. Try the Facebook page "Hua Hin Buy&Sell OFFICIAL" or look around yourself.

you can try star property on soi 57, left hand side near the pier. ask for pun, she speaks decent English. we found our 2 bed/3bath furnished house in a gated community for 15,000 a month, including a gardener, through her. she's a wonderful landlady; very helpful, honest and easy to deal with. if we have a problem we call or line her and she takes care of it quickly. she can also help with immigration, she has connections there. I was having a problem with an arrogant jerk who was giving me a hard time about my 1 yr. visa. I told her about it and she went down there with me and took care of it while I waited outside.
