My house and household effects are insured via my bank , Bank of Ayudhya.
The car/motorbike is insured by Aviva Insurance Co. Ltd.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

aviva insurance do cars and homes,
observer is the local agent for them, get a copy of observer magazine and look for their ad.

on this topic i pais 50 euro 2500 bath with observer as broker
1 million bath re build
1 million contence
better than here in ireland paying 1000 euro here for same sort of cover

Paid 5400 Bht for 4m Home rebuild and minimum 100,000 bht contents (No furniture yet)
This was in Bangkok Bank late Friday PM.
Was leaving town Sunday so no time to obtain any quotes.

I have just taken 3,000,000 bt of contents insurance from Bank of Aydhya for 4,834 bt, if thats any help.
