new car???
Dawn, it has been reposted in a different format.
I saw the original post and I think the questtion was regarding an add that had said the vehicle he wanted was over 1,000,000 baht and was it a good price.
I think from the new posting, the link was supplied to ask if it was good value. From the repost, I would think that was the reason

Always Borrow Money from a Pesimist. "They Never Expect it Back"
I agree with Jockey on Toyota, the vehicles are good and so is there service. Last week I got lost trying to find the vehicle registration office in Cha Am and Toyota were very helpful and patient in giving me directions over several phone calls. It was none of their business really but I couldn’t think of who else to call.

First of all; you are not particularly uneducated Chelsea.
Quite opposite I would say.
"I don't care thank you" is what it means.
And that's also my point of view.
Toyota, Nissan, Ford or even a bloodred Ferrari; who cares?
Personal opinion is not your first choise when trying to find a car.
Usually it's a matter of price and what you can afford to spend on a vehicle whos only purpose is to bring you safe and sound from A to B and back.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.
Ok Norseman, now I know (will have to put that in my book of thai sayings to remember)
I do not really care what I drive, as long as it gets me from A to B and does not break down. I do not have kids to consider when I buy a car, so probably not as limited for choice as most of you.
Anyway, if it is one of the Toyota 4WD (like hilux or prado australian models), they are OK in the 4WD versions, but can be prone to rolling over pretty easy due to the height that the vehicle is from the road. The equivilant Nissan 4WD is a bit lower to the ground, and not so much prone to rollover.
That is all I have to say on the matter, it is just some info that I picked up as feedback working in motor trade in Australia from major vehicle hire companies.

A little to thin a translation I think - maybe correct for Dawn's use of it, but it's also used in the meaning ofNorseman wrote:Hi Chelsea.chelsea wrote:OK Dawn, for the uneducated, what does Mai bpen rai, ka mean
