Odd January Weather??

Post by PeteC »

I don't know about you guys in HH but over here we've been having rain showers the past 3 days and now, bloody thunder storms with some good quantity rainfall. Me thinks the high season tourists here are not very happy this week. Maybe it's going to be a loooooong monsoon season this year. Pete

Fine over here, Pete. Clear blue skies every day and decent temperatures - not too hot, not too cold.

These things blowing through here this evening are going east to west. They may make it across the pond. Some fierce lightening as well. If clear over there, you may see it out over the sea.

Anyway, the mango trees are flowering like I've never seen before given these showers. I think this may be a 10 Baht per kilo year over here. Pete

Well it poured down last night. Good for the garden, and helps keep the dust levels down on the roads.

Heads up Pete, is the sun out over there yet? :thumb:

Sorry late reply, just got on 'da machine' here. We had showers again all morning and early afternoon. Just about an hour ago at 1500 the sun came out. It's dark to the east again so I think this evening may bring more. Pete

It's all very mixed up, I'm in Luxembourg right now and it happens to be reasonably pleasent; this time last year it was like Scott of the Antarctic!
