Living here full time

Post by norm »

Hi everyone

Have been living in HH (Palm Hills) for about three months now. My wife and I both originate from the USA but have not lived there for 23 years. We have spent most of our last 20 years in Australia. Great place but we decided to give HH a try.

Truly love it here and can't think of anywhere else we would rather be. Have bought a block of land in Palm Hills new development. As soon as it is completed we will be building a home. Maybe August or September.

Really enjoy this forum and hope to contribute from time to time.

Hello to everyone in HH, any chance of a chat?

Post by AlJo »

I am visiting HH in the first week in March 07 with a view to gathering as much information as possible to support my family relocation later in the year.

It would be really helpfull if I could meet some people from the forum to obtain personal experiences and opinions.

If anyone is free to meet for a chat please get in touch.

Thanks, Alistair Adam. :D

What dates exactly, AlJo? If you can manage to still be around on the 10th, it's the HHAD anniversary party at Johnny Walkers. Loads of us will be there & you can pick our collective brains to your hearts content. :D

Welcome to HHAD, BTW

Thanks for the quick reply, I arrive in HH on Thursday the 1st and have to leave on Wednesday the 7th so sadly will miss the party but "them's the breaks" I suppose.

Hopefully some people will be around through these dates.

Aljo

Would be pleased to show you around Palm Hills Golf Course. It is a very pleasant place to live. Will PM you our phone # and address. One week is not much time but it should give you a good idea how nice the HH area is to live in.

We didn"t really choose Palm Hills for the golf as we haven't played in over 20 years but will give it a go again.

Regards
Norm

Hello All

I spend 3 weeks in Hua Hin in January and fell in love with the place.

I am returning 10 April for 6 weeks and after that I hope to return once more and start the process to get a retirement visa.

Greetings to you all.

Hi everyone,
Nice to be 'on board', to those of you who may not know I'm Parahandy's livelihood...he can't do without me.
Look forward to some interesting banter and useful info. I've been in Thailand long enough now to see its ups and downs, and the rose-tinted glasses have long since been binned. But I'm an optimistic soul and try to go along with the flow.

V.S.
P.S. I'm a female (don't know if it makes any difference, but thought I'd mention it anyway :) )

Just wind the clock back 35 years or so and remember the wonderful tales.
I'm not even Scottish and I enjoy them - it's all Parahandy's fault.
