No, I couldn't see anything that really fitted the bill in their LED range.

In their fluorescent range, they didn't have wire mesh, but they had very strong protective fittings - some metallic, some made of very strong plastic compounds. Unfortunately, the best of the bunch were all double fittings. I found a single fitting made from a strong plastic compound, which will hopefully be perfect for what I need. I'll try them for a couple of weeks, and if satisfied will buy 2 more for a couple of not so vulnerable lights.

Our Mr Fixit has just finished the installation. I picked up the fluorescent tube containers (thinking these look posh) and read them - I'd bought LED. I said I was getting old
