Does anyone else get these annoying texts? I'm sitting at my laptop trying to get some work done and up shows these messages several times a day. I'm such an easily distracted person and find it hard to get work done outside the office. These effing spam texts don't help.
Rant over.

I am currently abroad and when my phone connects I am guaranteed to get some of these messages too but cannot seem to stop them. Hope I am not being charged for them.
With DTAC you can call customer service and opt out of these type or unsolicited SMS messages. I would think you can do the same with AIS and True. Pete

Mate you are being charged 12 Baht per message you receive while overseas, whether you want the message or not. Get in contact or get someone to contact AIS customer service and the messages can be stopped all you have to give is your name and mobile number.

Thanks for the advice. I have a niece who is good with these things. Will get her to do that before I connect up again..... and get her to put another hundred baht on the phone just in case the credit runs out. Don't use it much as I still have a UK number but don't want to lose the Thai number before I get back.
I've been having a few problems over the last few weeks with hundreds of Spam messages invading my phone.
I was at AIS this morning paying my bill, and showed the young girl the problem. She took my phone, and had it sorted in less than a minute. It's lovely to have MY phone back again.
