Living in Palm Hills Golf Course
Hi, recently I have seen a lovely property in Palm Hills Golf Course, but it is located near the Airport side, is there anyone live close to the Airport and can give me some advice? Will it be very noisy all the day? Also, anyone has an idea of how much is the land plats there now?
TIA.
TIA.

There are some properties for sale at Palm Hills at attractive prices. However certain plots are the subject of an investigation by the the Land Office at Cha Am to see whether they are on land that was originally forest land and as such should not have been developed. The implications of which are potentially serious for those involved. Obviously not all houses at Palm Hills are involved.

How much you will consider as "attractive"? Under 10M?i really worried to buy something over priced...dundrillin wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 4:31 pm There are some properties for sale at Palm Hills at attractive prices. I don't think you could get anything under 10m. An example of what I was thinking is a house that was originally 22.5m, is now 16 and I think would go for considerably less. I have seen a plot for sale at 5.5 m (1600sq meters)
Re: Living in Palm Hills Golf Course
We lived in Palm Hills for 10 years and I can tell you that 10MM will not get you anything unless you go for the smaller houses at the front, left of the entrance gate but they are pretty old and not very well built. If you want to buy land and build yourself it will cost quite a lot. The lots in Palm Hills are minimum 1 rai, and most of the houses are 1.5 rai and up. The traffic from the airport can be annoying at times, there is a flying school that flies small planes and goes around all day especially around the area of the front gate where the landing starts, it gets a bit better when you go towards the back, towards the university area. With the new AirAsia flights now I am sure it is a bit more noisy then usual especially when the jets takes off. All that said, I still think PH is one of the best place to live in HH despite the problems with the property management a few years ago, the place is somehow well managed and maintained (comparing to a lot of other gated communities) and the areas around PH has developed very nicely with wide paved roads (canal road) and less traffic than in town or towards the south or west. It's very quiet at night with the occasional party noises from the Muslim village outside the compound but it is common in Thailand.
I have always enjoyed looking at these custom built mansions around the golf course when I play golf and watching them being build and try to guess what the final house is going to look like and the results are always very interesting.

Very useful information, the one I am inerested in is exactly near the gate, i may think it twice because of the noise and age of the house... it is quite old actually and will need a full renovation... but the golf course view outside the garden is really nice.hhnewbie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 7:39 pm We lived in Palm Hills for 10 years and I can tell you that 10MM will not get you anything unless you go for the smaller houses at the front, left of the entrance gate but they are pretty old and not very well built. Anyone has 60M can just build their own palace instead of buying a resale

2072sqm = 1.3 rai, about 7m a rai, as others have said, you might be able to find plots from 5.5-6.5m per rai.

There are very many high value properties on PH so land prices not unrealistic depending on location.StevePIraq wrote: ↑Mon Jun 25, 2018 6:10 pm 7m god someone has to have been taking some meds if they would pay that
