The Milford Group Developers
Anyone got a first hand experience with these folks and their construction deadlines? I am considering buying one of their new condo units - well would be condo unit in mid 2008 in a place called the hua hin gardens about 3.5 km south of the town. of course it requires paying 60% prior to the completion. I am looking for anyone out there who might have dealt with them in the past, either at the hua hin laguna or in the milford condo. mnay thanks for your opinion.

Samuel, do you have a problem with these people? This is your 4th thread about them in 24 hrs. I would have thought the existing one about HH Gardens would have been enough to get the answers you require...

I found this old blog while researching the Milford group. does anybody know what is happening with the HH gardens development. Is it finished and in use?

Never heard of that one but Milford is the developer of the Laguna Resort on Soi 102 which is quite nice in a great location. However for the past 2-3 years there hasn't been much going on with dozens of plots still available and some unfinished houses.
Then they started The Pride just in front of Laguna built two Condo blocks of many. One still looks somewhat unfinished as is the pool house.
Just across the street they launched some tiny 1 bdrm villas that sell for thb 2.4 mln, but except for the location I would consider them worth no more than thb 1 mln.
You can buy a nice 2 brm villa at Emerald Resort on Soi 102 (close to the by-pass) for thb 2.3 mln. I think they even advertise a promotion for thb 1.99 mln. No wonder they are almost sold out. Pool house is finished and the resort looks well maintained. Maybe there are some owners here who know more.

I think there are about 10 plots left at Emerald...The clubhouse has just opened and the community charge kicks in on Jan 1st calculated at 20baht per square wah on your plot...unfinished plots charged at 10baht.
