I wonder if this particular bike was made there? Pete

Tirumph currently have 2 factories here, in Chonburi (Amata Nakorn). A 3 rd factory is in construction now.

They fabricate nealry all of the frames, tanks, swinging arms and plastic bits here in Thailand. They paint here and ship back to UK.

However, they assemble the 2 cylinder engines and bikes here complete.

I'm infomred (from within the factory) that the quality of the bikes assembled here, si far superior to those assembled in Hinkley. The paintwork is outstanding.

Finished bikes are exported to Hinkley and to Triumph US.

The Rocket is made in UK, the tank, mudguards, panels etc... are all made here for sure. I think (but am not sure), that the frame etc... also is from Thailand.

I love the new triumphs (exception below), they are surely becoming a bike to be reckoned with.

Sorry, but I think the Rocket is the ugliest bike they've ever made (in any incarnation). Its a marketing exercise, aimed squarely at the US market, and I have no doubt Triumph will reap the reward of this carefully executed exercise.

Good luck to them, and best of luck with the expansion plans in Thailand

Just Google Image Triumph Rocket 3 - you will get plenty of pictures.
Thanks BB

Well impressive, Harley's eat your heart out. Would like to see one in the flesh though, it looks enormous but so do any form of chopper's in pic's.

Winkie, each to their own mate. The bike in my opinion and most other BIKERS!!! is its the sexiest bike on 2 wheels. Even the wife who Ive only just got into bikes is smitten. Its certainly not aimed at the US market. If they wanted to aim at the US market they wouldnt have made the bike as they did. It not only leads the world in many ways its nothing like what YANKS ride. It is a bike built for the roads in UK and Europe. If all they wanted was to sway a few Harley riders they would have made a totally different bike. What do you ride here then? If you ever get the chance to ride one you may change your mind. I've ridden Harleys and I hate them. They are a slow straight line chair. As Someone once said " Its what you get when you cross a sofa with a tractor " They are also sooooooo overpriced here its unbelieveable. Come and look at it in the flesh when I come to HH Nobody can say its UGLY!!!!!!!!!! Latest update is its on the boat and on route. ROLL ON MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU CANT DIVE! RIDE!
