Thai national who likes dogs urgently needed

Post by DawnHRD »

HHDRC urgently needs a Thai national worker for 3 hrs a day in the morning. Hours are 9am to 12 midday, each day. Duties will include cleaning the center, feeding dogs and cleaning & refilling water bowls. Occasionally they may be asked to help with bathing dogs or holding them for minor medical procedures.

Must like dogs and not be afraid of them All dogs are sociable & friendly. Some spoken English an advantage, but not absolutely essential. Salary stated upon request.

Please pm me or call 081 9814406. Thanks.

This post will do you absolutly no good concerning your search...LOL. But I don't think I ever mentioned it to you. The very (and I mean very) first job I had in my life was at age 13.5 and at place called Holiday House Kennels near Philadelphia, big place, about 60 pens. I loved it and did exactly what you are advertising for. Worked there every summer and Christmas break until I was 16. And...every summer the same doberman(sp) who spent time there while mom and dad were on vacation chased me up onto the corrugated tin roof of the place and kept me there until I was rescued.

I'm just in the wrong place but would help you out in a minute. Pete

PS: This brought back some not so good memories also. The other boy who was my 'dog' teacher and 2 years older than me was paralyzed for life by a booby trap in Vietnam in 1967. My understanding is that he passed away in about 1985 at age 34, as internal organs don't do too well when you can't move for years. God rest your soul Bobby.

How about advertising for gap year students or summer break students to work as volenteers in the rescue centre or the shop. I am not quite sure how this works accommodation wise. Can anyone suggest anything
