improvment

Post by Hervelon »

Hi Lev
your site is sometimes a bit confusing although i am finding my way round now... it has not always been the case..!
the way your key topics/listing are presented... you should perhaps list them alphabetically.. to make it easy to find what you are after and especially placing your thread in the right places....
just an idea

Thanks for the suggestion however it is a forum, not a directory. It has grown over time and now forums pertinent to Hua Hin remain in the top section and those that can be applied to the rest of Thailand in the bottom half.

There is always the search function to help you find what you're looking for.

Sounds like a man about to leave his tropical paradise, preparing to return to the real world for a while - it impressed me, lets hope it impresses your prospective employer as well

The search function works well, but it would be nice, if back-button in browser let you go back to result page - in my case, it says that web-page is outdated, and I'll have to make the search again for each thread I've been into.

Improvment

I think someone has mentioned a spell checker before. That would be a big improvment. 8)

Spell check, all you need is the latest version of fire fox it has a spell checker built in although it be the other English with Z instead of S and a number of other missing letters such as U in colour

As mentioned above, a lot of these issues would be solved by using Firefox instead of IE. These include the redundant back button (as new threads can be opened in a new tab) and the built in spell checker. Unfortunately though it doesn't yet include a pictogram and a hysteresis curve.

Big Boy, Its true, going back in a week has re-activated my brain into work mode. Lets hope my knowledge of electronics, marketing, sales, management and so forth, makes me a suitable candidate to fill shelves at Tesco's of an evening.....
By the way, once youve used Google's FireFox you'll see how crap I.E really is.....
