Nightlife in Hua Hin???

Post by Miss Beloved »

Im going to Hua Hin soon and Im just wondering how the nightlife is there..
Is there any discos that plays some new music and where you can dance. I like techno, trance and RnB. Can you find a place that plays that kind of music???
Last winter I was in Patong and I loved it. Great nightlife!!!

HH is not like Patong, so don't expect thousands of bars and millions of people, it's much more laid back. You will find a places to dance the night away. City Beach & The Hilton both have late night dance/disco venues. Can you waltz :lach:

Would never compare "Patong Beach" with Hua Hin it would be the same as saying London is on a level par with Coventry.

Compare Soi Bintabaht with Soi Eric, fine.

Come on leave the exageretions in the PM's.

Exactly who are you talking to? The OP was asking a question, the time honoured way of gleaning information, & JG was saying that Hua Hin is not like Patong, so I'm not sure who your comment about exaggerations is addressed to?! :?

Miss Beloved, did you get to Tiger Disco, Taipan Room, Two Black Sheep (at the top of Bangala Rd) and the Blarneystone Bar in Banglala Rd.

Most of the time we spent in Patong was in soi eric and soi crocodile, I must admit at the time I was there I had a blast in both of the soi's and Bangala Rd.

Came to HH the next year, and after being initially dissapointed with HH bars, found some good ones and had a different type of holiday.
Do not come to HH and think that you are going to get Patong nightlife (you will be dissapointed)

I think if you come blind to a resort in Thailand (I did in HH), you initial impressions are not good, but if you take the time to explore (during the day as well as at night) you can find that there is entertainment there for all types of tastes.

I have had my GF with me all of the time I have holidayed in Thailand, (although she is not Asian), we have both had 4 years of great holidays in Thailand

It all depends if the person that you go away with can handle what is going around them. I have been out at partys and come home when the sun comes up but have not done the wrong thing, so I think it makes difference if you or your partner can handle the situations that may arise.

You do not have the in your face nightlife and situations in HH that you have in Patong or Pattaya, so if that is what you are after, HH is not the place for you.
You can chill out on the beach during the day, and then go out and eat and drink at your lesuire during then evening and into the night.

If you do come, I hope that you have as good a time as I have had and make as good a friends as I have while you are there.

Reckon the nearby university moved all their students out of accommodation by the side of it a long time ago.
Again, drink, coyote girls etc etc = trouble.

There are probably qo times the bars and 20 times the girls on Soi Eric. What they do have in common is sex for money and no roof when it rains!

Favorite Beer

Post by FutureResident »

I do know that EU beer is a bit deifferent and even that from Oz. so note the title and tell me about you favorite beer in Thailand. Up until recently a good VB was in order, if real quality, but since too many fakes I would go for Hienies...Sinc tha San Miguel Lite is out I've shifter ove to that. Not up at to alco level or viscosity of EU brews or Micro Brews but in a beer bar.....Just fine since I'll probably have 10 or more in a night! Seems to have the same power with less carbs. possibly a low carb beer rather than a lite beer?

San Miguel Lite...Just for the record I have consumed more that 1000 real San Miguel in the mid 60's while on duty about Asia!

Stepz & the Hua Hin 'Brewing Company' are good lively spots although you will pay a premium for the pleasure of being in these establishments.
Good nights out all the same.

,
C'mon, Jimmy, give it a rest already. And, of course, a very happy Honolulu to you.
