Fortunately, not due yet, but how does one renew their annual 'permission to stay'. Requires bank visits, face to face application. If over 70, one is not allowed out, so how can that be tackled?

Lots of variables in play here and I guess the answer is nobody knows. At the moment its a bit like Stingray.."Anything could happen in the next half hour."

I've been wondering exactly the same thing.

There is an established law that if your "due date" falls on a holiday or a date immigration is closed you get a deferment until the next official working day. They put a small little stamp in your passport to that effect when you renew to show future immigration officers why your renewal or report date was later than it should have been.

Logically if you are prohibited from fulfilling requirements due to emergency government regulations, the above should reply.

It scares me when I use the word "logically" here, but that's my thoughts on it at this point. I think we'll see something official published as the days go by. Keep an eye on the Immigration website.

I did my 90 day reporting online a week ago but have not had any notification that it has been received. Deadline is today and I'm concerned. Has anyone else reported online recently ?

BB, as you've probably subsequently read.....

Provincial governors throughout Thailand on Wednesday announced further measures in order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

"But at the very heart of the announcements was one clear message to people in Thailand: STAY INDOORS.

People are advised to stay indoors apart from going to the supermarket, pharmacy or carrying out some other essential business such as banking or immigration and that social distancing should be practiced at all times.'

I reported online on 18 March 2020 and called immigration Hua Hin today to check that my 90 day was OK. They were pleasant enough online but said quote "we don't accept online reporting, you must come to immigration office". Does anyone have an opinion on this please.

My opinion is that it sounds ridiculous but if that’s what they’ve told you then I don’t think you have many options

My due date for 90 day reporting was yesterday. Am I correct in saying that we have 7 days grace from the due date to report.

Ok..First thing, one does not report "online" directly to the HH office. Your 90 day online application is processed at BKK, hence when you asked at HH they told you to come in.

Apologies in advance if proven wrong but that was my experience when I did it a few times last year. Since then I have found it to be convenient to do it at Bluport. In view of their closure I intend to report online in early?mid April. Things obviously may change till then but that's my plan for now.

Edit.. Once you have successfully submitted your online application you are able to track it's status via the website. Once or twice I got a message back telling me to report to my local office(no reason given).
