Do they?
The crisis started in Japan.
Was Soros a contributing cause of that?
The complete history of it is here: gets a bit bogged down in places!

Yes you are right guys.
Quite a memory fresh-up from your enclosed link Nereus.

Whatever his motives, Mr. Soros has made financial history in southeast Asia. The man who earned $1 billion by betting on the devaluation of the British pound in 1992 is now a man much feared by regional central bankers. However, Asia's emerging economies probably have the resilience to see Mr. Soros off. The Hungarian-American may be worth $ 12 billion but the foreign exchange reserves of countries like Malaysia dwarf even Mr. Soros' war chest.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

Norseman the 12 billion is his up close and personal pennys his consortium of very wealthy (exclusively jewish) backers can multiply that by at least 30 fold and although he has supposedly retired from his consortium his son now runs it

the name Soros is still out there menacing

FutureResident, I do remember going to Sunday School at a very early age, but I don't think Forex markets were on the curiculum.

Do you still beat you wife? Or r u a tipping teecher?

In response to your non response.... Many people attended Sundy School at some sort of Christian Church. At Sunday School the topic was christianity and the bible where it was noted that the Jews were money changers hence the referance to the original post. I trust you are more clear on something only you found to be and issue. NOTE: your non contributive troll was duly noted since it had no topical value but to solicit are response unreleate to the thread! Khao Jai?

To the board members, pardon the soiree to sillyness but I did want to make my postion clear devoid of the Troll and Flame as I clearly made no negative comment toward people of Jewish faith. I should be corrected to add the Syrians were also money changers as well and seem to be at that again!

I hope that because the board seems to be a bit slow at the monment a member wasn't trolling/flaming just to get some posts moving! Is there a block post function on this board as a brief search of a members activity indicates I would most likely wish to apply that option!

Always heartwarming to know that for some with pointy little heads the International Jewish Conspiracy is alive and well.

Currency trends and real estate in Hua Hin

Post by natureboy »

First post from a long-time lurker.

Looks like the thread lost the plot with a reference to jews, and some talk about who killed who in '97.

All very nice.

The Hua Hin real estate market is not going to trend down in price from a glut in available units, or from changes in economies or currency rates. The good deals are already gone from the transition period when in-coming retirees from abroad could find accomodation at Thai native prices. It seems likely to me that the market playing out to further arriving foreign retirees is going to hold where it is for another 10,000 or so people arriving, however long that takes. If it takes 6 months or four years, that will pretty much fill up the 15 minute circle to downtown.

When about that many more expats join the scene as residents, supply will run even with demand and then run short of it, fueling new development further out, but in-town prices will run up again, to rival BKK rates for similar footage. There are maybe only 3 good years left before things reach that point.

Those are just my calculations, based on watching, and surfing topics, and talking to friends who moved in 4 years ago. I am pretty far from expert, and the HH residents can take my comments apart as they like, based on better knowledge.

HH is one of several places I am eyeing as I approach the date. I will probably miss the boat getting in cheap, but those entering now can still find some good deals. Sooner better than later IMHO.
