6 more new cases today, the same as yesterday. 2 of them were already in quarantine.
Currently, 234 active cases across the country.
As far as I know, nothing from the governor regarding the sale of alcohol from tomorrow so hopefully he's not going to continue the ban here.

There can't be much virus spread in the community. I just watched a youtube video, posted this morning, showing Bangkapi market. Really crowded, no physical distancing, many vendors not wearing masks, it would be a real centre of infection if there was any coronavirus around there. Link:

Korat imposes quarantine on people from 10 provinces

At least one province, Nakhon Ratchasima, has required that people from 10 provinces with the most coronavirus cases who plans to stay in the province enter 14-day quarantine.
The communicable disease panel of the province issued the announcement on Saturday as people have been heading upcountry during the long holidays from Friday. It was signed by governor Vichian Chandaranothai, as chair of the committee.
The people planing to stay in the province, whether they are visitors or returnees, must report within 24 hours to village health volunteers responsible for the area where they will stay.
The 10 provinces subjected to the new rule are those with the most cumulative virus cases as of Saturday: Bangkok, Phuket, Nonthaburi, Yala, Samut Prakan, Chon Buri, Pattani, Songkhla, Chiang Mai and Pathum Thani.
Health officials will advise those who come from other provinces will give advice on what they should do and put them under observation by taking into account social distancing.
If there is a need to quarantine them, they can do so immediately. Violators will face legal action.
The announcement issued under the emergency decree on Friday evening and coming into effect on Sunday urged people not to travel to other provinces or delay their trips unless in cases of emergencies. It’s all in the fine print and passengers, eager to get to certain provinces, are being met with an unannounced surprise today.
Yesterday 4 domestic airlines – Nok Air, Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air and VietJet Air – resumed flights to 14 provincial airports across Thailand. Now the the Department of Airports director-general Tawee Gasisam-ang says travellers landing at 5 destinations, namely Phitsanulok, Buri Ram, Krabi, Trang, and Nakhon Phanom airports, will be quarantined. Not only quarantined but for 14 days.
Tawee says anyone who takes a flight to Phitsanulok will be quarantined for 14 days at home with their families if they are a local, or in hotels that are part of the “Save Phisanulok” program.
However, those who arrive at Phitsanulok airport a connecting flight need not to be quarantined. Those who fly into Buriram must be quarantined as well.
Krabi airport, meanwhile, announced that visitors must show a medical certificate from their point of origin proving that they are free from Covid-19.
Those who do not have a certificate will be sent to a local quarantine centre, the director-general said.
Trang, meanwhile, is ready to receive locals. But those on a work visit must have documents related to their work and a medical certificate from their place of origin and even then will still be quarantined in Trang for 14 days.
The upper northeastern Nakhon Phanom province will allow only passengers to enter the passenger terminal, not their relatives and friends. The province also has barred migrant workers from entering without the specific permission from the governor.
In a related story, Surat Thani province in Thailand’s South has announced mandatory quarantine for its hundreds of residents fleeing home after spending a month trapped in Phuket when the island sealed itself off in late March.

This is from the UK where restrictions have been imposed on preventing non-essential travel.
“We had been reading about a meteor shower that was meant to be really spectacular on Wednesday night. So around 11.30pm I piled into the car with my mum, dad and younger brother. We had a telescope and binoculars.
The idea was to drive about four or five miles out of the city to get a better view of the sky at midnight.
We were less than 500m from our house and a police car pulled out. It had been stationary and parked at the side of the road. It followed us and its lights came on. Then a second police car arrived with lights, sirens, the whole works.
They asked what we were doing and were perfectly polite. They said this was an unnecessary journey and we had to go home. My dad told them this was our daily exercise but they were not having it.
I can understand their argument but to deny us the right to exercise seems overzealous. It starts to become a night curfew and that's not what the regulations are about.
For example if I was an essential worker and wanted to go for a late-night run, then what's to stop me doing that? They were saying we should exercise in a local space but the lockdown rules say you are allowed to drive a short distance to exercise.
I did complain to the police in writing afterwards. They replied saying our travel was non-essential but I still don't think we broke the rules.”
We might all have different views about how risky this was going to be, but in terms of breaking the rules - this guy is trying to say it was part of their daily exercise, when their only intention was to do some night-time sky observation - clearly non-essential travel by UK rules.

Long weekenders ordered to self-isolate on arrival for 14 days

The Interior Ministry has issued an order for people returning to the provinces during the current long weekend to be kept under quarantine for 14 days.
The order, intended to prevent Covid-19 transmission, was given in the wake of the exodus of people making trips upcountry mostly from Bangkok.
The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) earlier proposed the holidays -- Labour Day on Friday, Coronation Day tomorrow and Visakha Bucha Day on Wednesday -- be cancelled to keep people from travelling.
Medical experts voiced concerns over large numbers of people travelling around the country, but the cabinet shot down the idea.
The CCSA on Saturday said nearly a million people, many currently out of work due to the pandemic, travelled on Labour Day alone, which marked the start of the long weekend.
Permanent secretary for the interior Chatchai Promlert on Saturday signed an order for local authorities to ensure that visitors and natives who return from other provinces isolate themselves at home or at specific locations for 14 days.
It was reported on Saturday that a large portion of workers have left Phuket and headed home to other provinces. The popular resort island province, which is one of the coronavirus hotspots in the South, witnessed a long tailback of outbound traffic on Friday.
Phuket has recorded 220 coronavirus infections so far with two deaths.
Teera Warathanarat, an expert at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, said the loosening of some lockdown measures and restrictions which triggered an exodus of travellers over the past few days could raise new infections.
Single-digit daily infections have been reported in the past several days including six each on Friday and on Saturday.
Similarly, Thanarak Plipat, deputy chief of the Department of Disease Control, said on Saturday that new infections appear to have been limited, but warned there remains a risk of the numbers increasing again.
"We need to put up a strong guard and keep it up," he said.

They should have walked the four to five miles which would presumably have been within the rules. The article mentions the Dengue vaccine. That one has been in development for over 30 years and is not much in use due to controversy that it increases the risk of severe illness in those that have never been infected. A similar effect was found in the SARS vaccine during testing and SARS is quite a close match to this coronavirus.
