Okay, I've just been watching Zabriskie point here - its still on - and the scene where the young lovers get it on is accompanied by the sort of haunting, bluesey, jazzey, folky "acoustic" laid back, Miles Davies Kind of Blue style amplified twangy "spacious" echoey sound that I like to listen to when I need to chill out, especially when I'm driving and especially on a Tuesday when I'm behind the Sunday drivers!
Anyone have any ideas of where I can get an album full or more of such music from?
I will be much indebted!

I'm amazed that I can remember anything from 1970, but I thought I recalled it being a soundtrack made by Floyd. A friends brother had the album.
