Second game of the new abbreviated Super Rugby season. Much like the first game, 30 penalties and just stale players, at least on the part of the Hurricanes. They were a bit of a mess.

And hey, come one - it's not just Wales: -

What's the coverage of the 6 Nations and RWC like in Thailand? I'm guessing club rugby won't be accessible. Is it possible to access UK subscription services, maybe via a VPN - or is there another thread on this somewhere (I couldn't find one)?

Taken From: - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/53080391

"Former England captain Chris Robshaw has completed a move to San Diego Legion in the USA's Major League Rugby.

The flanker, 34, announced in February he would leave Harlequins this summer after 16 years, though he has agreed to stay until the suspended season ends.

"Each season the MLR has grown and advanced its reputation," said Robshaw, after signing a two-year deal.

"I've been looking at my options to play in the MLR over the past 12 months. It was an easy choice for me."

Major League Rugby, cancelled this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, was first played in 2018, with the first two campaigns won by Seattle Seawolves.

Former New Zealand centre Ma'a Nonu joined San Diego last year.

Ex-England back Ben Foden and former South Africa prop Tendai "The Beast" Mtawarira are also involved in the competition, which was to have featured 12 teams this term, including Canadian outfit Toronto Arrows."

Blues vs Chiefs, an uneventful affair unless you count endless downpour, slippery ball, and endless penalties. With these new rules they are calling everything that would have gone by last season. It's throwing the players into disarray, especially playing in a monsoon.

I don't know what they're going to do with this new rule enforcement scenario we're seeing in NZ at the moment. It's ruining the game IMO. I lost count of the penalties in today's match. You can see the player frustration as well. Really marginal stuff. :banghead:

Very good back and forth match between the Blues and Highlanders. Came down to the final minutes. Penalties not as big a factor this week. Seems the boys are getting used to the new procedures now.

Sky is the main broadcaster Pharvey. Sky NZ, but would have thought they show in the UK as well. Maybe on a repeat later today?

Thanks Pete, but not a subscriber to Sky... Can't afford their bloody prices!

Have seen a few reports on the match which make it sound like it was a good one to watch! :thumb:
