After reading the page's of post's on the green and dangerous etc 'Post" cannot help being amused by the the threats and inuendo's made by numerous Ex pat's.
Bet the majority are "Limey's" , I am not racist but thats just our slang, living on the Usa and Canadian border for 35 yrs, what is it with you Limey's, English have a rep of being nice people, whats happened.
I really felt sorry for "DO" , bet his driving is no worse than anyone els'es, bet he has a driving license be it in his own Country, at least he has passed a test, how many foriegner's riding motorbike's here have passed a motorcycle test?
after reading your message firstly I have to point out that yes I have a full English driving licence for 20 years,a motorbike licence for 15years,a forklift fuck licence for 17 years and a class one hgv[18 wheelier]for 15 years.I have also got a thai driveing licence although I do admit to not sitting a test.It is a shame when something that should be light hearted goes the wrong way and people get angry.I am a very respectfull polite man and out of the hundreds of people that know me in Hua Hin Im sure that there are few that will dissagre[although there are afew people that no-one could please.Lets face it the likes of us and possible 90% of people that come here are here because that wont a care free simple life in the sun,some people come because there country was not for them any more,and some come because of there bussiness,I came for all of these reasons.The other 10% come because in there own country they was poor to ugly to get a woman and basicaly they was rejected so therefore the come her and tell us all a lies and you just listen if you go into the bars at night almost everyone you speak to was bigger and better than you back in there home country.I have actual sat next to people that have claimed to be millionares and then argued over a 200baht bar bill and then you get the SAS and CIA men is there any wounder we get people on this site that have nothing better to do than slag people off as the are green with envy as they know themselfs that they are loosiers.
Maybe the arrogant "I know it all" tone from some posters provokes a reaction from some of the less abrupt members on here.
Racism also won't be tolerated - arseholes can be found in every country - and the "driving" thread was locked by Admin so lets not bring that one back up again, it was going nowhere in the first place.

We all love LOS and Hua Hin in particular I hope so lets all have fun and not resort to name calling and accusations.

I don't personally find the term "limey" particularly racist, but I think your attitude is racist if you "bet" the majority of posters having a go are Brits. I seem to remember being one of the few defending DO, and I'm a "limey", so really, you're talking hogwash, aren't you? Don't remember your post on that thread being particularly friendly, either.

I do not understand how often the moderators look at a thread or on what grounds they edit or close a thread. This is due to the fact I am computer stupid. I will however point out that I requested prior to the mud really getting thrown on the DO thread that it be closed this would have stoped the mud flinging. Please I am not having a go at the moderators as im sure they do a great job and long shall they continue.
I think reading through the forum over the last week there was to much b-------Ks on there and yes two much mud slinging.
The plus side to this is that the forum has a number of new members including now the infamous DO !.
Maybe this thread should now be closed before it turns into a slanging match between North America and Europe.

Would be an idea if you and the other new members on here read the terms and conditions to give you a rough idea of what is generally permitted.

This is actually my point. If you read the terms and conditions that you linked me too.point 12 says: personal attacks upon named individuals are not permitted.
Sorry about the fact I cant cut and paste but if thats the case why was the DO thread allowed to continue.
Once again not having a go at the mods just seams slightly confusing to me as to what constitutes a breach of rules in paragraph 12 of the terms and conditions
Sorry mods, just re-read terms and conditions now I have unwitingly breached the terms in regards to parageaph 15. My sincere apologies for this it was not deliberate on my part.
This serves absolutely no purpose but to breed more ill feeling.
