I just tried that, typed in the '8' cos I circled the '1' and it picked the '1'.
So I didn't fool it !?!?!?

You leave a number out and it knows the number cos when it adds your left out number, the total will always be perfectly divisible by '9'.
And it knows what your number is based on the total of the numbers you entered, yours has to be a number that rounds it up to the nearest number divisible by '9', ie 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 etc.
Anyone follow ?

1) You type in your non-circled numbers and it adds up to a total
2) You will always be holding a circled number that makes the above total add up to the nearest number divisible by '9'.
ie: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54 etc
