Kiteboarding

Post by Stu-Pot »

Just want to find out if there are many kiteboarding fans on HHAD?????

I have just taken up the sport so have many questions to ask.

If you have an opinion on the sport or some useful advice for a novice, please let me know

I think it's a 'sport', as you get dragged along by an airborne apparatus? It's an 'event' when you crash! Pete

I've always wanted to try it ... but always back out, getting too old I reckon.

Theres more info on boarding specifically in Hua Hin here:

Or for those that are thinking of taking it up speak to Roger at www.kitethailand.com

just made the basic course with kiteboardingasia at soi 75/1 and additional hour with roger.

gosh, you have to walk up that beach many times to surf the way the boys out there in the waves do.

patience and practise and patience and practise, up and down and down and down.

needed a complete rest today after six days trying to kiteboard. didnt feel a part of the body anymore. me thinks perhaps its the age. those boys out there look all like fresh beach imports from hawaii.
