Good recommendation if you enjoy sci-fi. I'd add elements of Terminator and Lord of the Flies to buksi's mashup list. I'm about to start episode 6 and happy to stay with it - how are you getting on, buksida?
Yeah, sci-fi is my thing. With all that is going on in the world a bit of escapism is needed which is why I tend to avoid the crime/murder/political/business and generally darker and more serious series.
Terminator, yes, especially the one with the hot Terminatrix! Pacing myself to one per night so only up to episode 3, but it is good.

Being a big fan of horror, I'm not sure how 2 seasons of this passed me by in 2016. Been a while since I watched the movie, may have to revisit it after.
The Exorcist
Did the first 4 episodes last night and really enjoying it. Solid reviews all round online.
Downloads below if anyone interested. I downloaded the bigger file size I believe. Other one seemed far too small for 10 episodes.

I gave this a go anyway and it's very good indeed. High quality acting

I like to dip into the various Star Trek reincarnations (those made after the set stopped shaking), but it's not often they (intentionally) make me burst out laughing. So indulge me...
Season 2 episode 2 Carbon Creek
3 Vulcans are stranded on Earth in 1957 after their spacecraft blows a gasket. While waiting to be rescued they spend a few months in disguise in a small American mining town. One of them, in a most unVulcanlike manner, becomes quite taken with the people and their way of life. He decides to return to the ship to get something to improve the reception on their TV set. The leader says it would be safer to wait until after dark. "I have to go now," says our Earth-lover in a typically deadpan delivery, "I Love Lucy is on tonight."

I was never a big fan of Star Trek, but I can remember I Love Lucy - my mum used to like it so we would all have to watch it!!
Mine used to love the wrestling on a Saturday afternoon, we all had to watch Mick McManus, Jackie Pallo, Adrian Street et al.

Don’t forget Billy Two Rivers - Mick McManus was always the villain and the one to hate - Jackie Pallo loved himself!! Happy memories

Same (before my time of course but seems to be forever on the telly). Saying this, I've really enjoyed some of the recent movies so I may have to give them a proper go. Or at least the more recent ones, anyway.

Picard had more of a storyline.
I never got into the later star treks. I've never been a big tv watcher but I remember as a kid enjoying the star trek's I saw. The Picard seasons, perhaps because it was later in my life, I never really watched beyond one, or two.
