Hua Hin features on this Covid timeline a lot. Hopefully there will be an English translation at some point, but maybe one of the clever people can help in advance.

Does this mean that we can now have a beer with our meal at a restaurant?

In some restaurants you could, and if not you could have your beer in a giant coffee cup. All this month I got my alcoholic drinks in dark cups.

True but I think he meant 'legally'...

You have to wait for the PM to approve it tomorrow.

To answer my own question:
Royal Coast Review
Pending approval on Friday (29th January), restaurants in both Prachuap Khiri Khan and Phetchaburi will be able to open until 11 PM and serve alcohol. Pubs, bars and karaoke parlours remain closed.

Of course, I've never seen so many sad grown men playing kiddies tea parties all sat pouring their drinks out of tea pots. If you need to ridicule yourselves to that level carry on - I love to see it

Now back to news please, which is we hope it should be legal from tomorrow :offtopic:

I just spoke to a friend who runs a restaurant in Cha Am and he said they were allowed to serve alcohol 3 days ago - I assume legally!!

Not so off topic, better have a drink in a tea or coffee pot in a bar with people than drinking at home.
In some places like 19 rai or Cicada you get your drinks in a plastic cup ? Isn't it ridiculous ?

We were all told that we should wait for the order from the Governor easing restrictions. I don't think anybody bothered to wait, but it was issued yesterday afternoon (at least that is when it appeared).

Don't know where the info leaked from, but the pool league organisers were gathering their troops to restart the games on Friday, using LINE to announce that the bars would open on Monday (yesterday).

Many bars were open as usual Sunday evening. Making people wait until the 1st, when CCSA announced the easing on the 29th did seem ludicrous, but I guess they had their reasons.
