I'd waited before setting things up to be honest - wasn't too sure how things were going to play out with Covid and the French ruling on elite sports etc.

Seems like things will go ahead after all, so will set the HHF League up as usual :thumb:

Bristol vs Bath in a couple of hours - looking forward to this one, although obvious concerns for the result!! Bath struggling at the moment and don't need the injuries or the fiasco over "false positives" forcing players and coaches to self-isolate and training put to a stop! :cuss:

Anywho, whilst a cold night, it is dry in this neck of the woods (Bristol being a short hop across the bridge) - all good for a great derby!! :thumb: Hopes are BB and Jr will not be happy (sorry)..... :D

Well it's good to see there's a reliable referee in charge. (1st blood to Bristol as I type...)

EDIT: 2 minutes later... oh dear...

Well that's my day fecked already - Barnes refereeing and Bath 2 tries down within 10 minutes. Shite Bath defence (as is the norm), but at least it's a Welshman causing them problems!

That was yesterday.... :butt:

Should be a quiz on how many forward passes or "Not Straight" Lineouts Barnes misses...... :banghead:

Dire, dire rugby by Bath, but some great stuff by Bristol to be fair.

Absolute BS decision on Yellow Card for Priestland.

Bounce of the ball also going with Bristol FFS.......... The LHG is not impressed with my language :tsk:

By 'eck, I have no horse in this race, but I'm wincing every time Bristol get the ball (which is frequently). Not sure I can watch the 2nd half...

Incredibly poor by Bath, no, a disgrace - to make matters worse, I can't even blame Barnes  :banghead:

Bristol incredibly strong and fair play to them - major changes needed at Bath I'm afraid. A defence coach being one of them!

I'm not going to set up Superbru for Super Rugby Aotearoa, or Super Rugby Australia unless some show interest, at least 6. I know it's hard to stay interested and see any matches from the UK or EU, and not many on the forum from Thailand who follow it

To be honest Pete, I've not followed it for some time - despite the lockdowns and not travelling, so wouldn't go for it - thanks though! :thumb:

As for the Six Nations, it does look like things will be going ahead despite France''s Covid quarantine rules and the EU's dummy throwing over Covid vaccines and anti-UK sentiment......

I have major concerns over Wales with the (lack of) form shown over the past couple of weeks and ongoing injuries to top players..... Pivac and co. need to man-up and quickly...... or 4th place will be looking a positive position   :banghead:

That said, who could fail to take faith in our man Scott??!! I'm convinced CYMRU AM BYTH!! :D

Josh Adams: Wales Wing Suspended From Six Nations Squad For Covid-19 Breach

"Winger Josh Adams has been released by Wales after being suspended for the first two matches of the 2021 Six Nations following a breach of Covid-19 protocols.

The Cardiff Blues player, 25, attended a gathering with his immediate family present on Sunday, after the squad had been released from camp on Saturday.

The players linked back up on Tuesday and the breach was raised.

"I would like to apologise unreservedly," said Adams.

Adams made his international debut in 2018 and has scored 14 tries in 29 Tests for Wales.

He was expected to start in the tournament opener against Ireland on Sunday but will miss that game at the Principality Stadium and the trip to face Scotland six days later.

The latest round of Covid-19 testing results for the national squad all returned negative.

"When out of camp, at the weekend, I made an error of judgement," said Adams. "I attended a small gathering of immediate family to celebrate a family milestone.....

....Pivac explained how the incident had been discovered with Adams understood to have attended a gender reveal party."

He's 25 FFS didn't he know already??!!

A what party??? You know you're getting old when you start coming across terms you've never heard of before...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_reveal_party
A gender-reveal party is an event or celebration had during pregnancy. The primary goal of this event is the eponymous "reveal" of the baby's sex to the expecting parents, family, and friends. Twentieth century medical advancement in early, reliable prenatal sex discernment has allowed the requisite information that underlies these events to develop. Originating in the United States in the late 2000s, gender reveal parties are common only in the English-speaking world.
Ask your guests to come dressed according to your party's theme, and give a prize to the best-dressed guest. Time capsule. Once the gender is revealed, ask your guests to write down their hopes, predictions, and advice for your baby, and then seal the notes in a box.
