No doubt, he is a class act - and should without question be part of the Lions....

Yes, as support for Sam Simmonds...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves....... That said, I'd make Simmonds part of the squad - remembering Faletau also makes one hell of a "6".

A couple of potential classics coming up this weekend - Italy vs Wales not being one of them, although I hope we don't embarrass ourselves (again) but come away with a bonus point win...... Bulgaria deserve their chance in this competition.

Lillywhites vs Les Bleus.... At the start of this year's tournament, both being top of the betting for Champions or Grand Slam Winners. The former are now buggered (WHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA - sorry... can't help it..), the latter with some questions over fitness (Covid etc.). If England can sort out their discipline (and Farrell can keep his trap closed), I can see them taking it by +/- 7 points. Correct decision to drop Daly BTW.

The Sweaties vs Paddies..... Ouch, another difficult one to call IMHO - I think Scotland have been one of the top teams so far. Ireland are always difficult to play against or bet against!! Personally, I think it will be a tight game, but home advantage for the win.

Hey ho, let's all hope for a cracking weekend of rugby!! :thumb:

Oh, is there some rugby on this weekend...? I'm awfully busy, but I'll see if I can find the time... :duck:

One thing I did read somewhere is that England had had Wayne Barnes in to advise on how best to communicate with the referee during games...

Oh, the bitchiness.... Come along my love, I'll even support your side this weekend.

Do you need to know the channel for Italy vs Wales ? (S4C is best by the way..)

In all seriousness on this one, Wales asked Nigel Owens for advice early on and he (or others) have attended a few training sessions to give advice over the past few sessions. It hasn't turned out badly if you look not only penalty count, BUT THE CARDINGS - not just referring to this season and the "disputed" cards.....

Looking forward to England vs France - though completely in a "multitude of minds" today as to what the result will be...... I still expect an English "backlash" and a little rustiness from France, but I'm leaning more to a win for Les Bleus.

Anything but a Bonus Point win for Wales will be a shock to say the least.

Pfff, can't be bothered to watch any more. 10-0 after 7 minutes and a yellow card. I'd rather watch the under-12s at the local park.

It's a nice sunny afternoon, think I'll go and sit in the garden. Oh hang on...

Yes, difficult to predict in this bizarre year. France start clear favourites, but whatever the end result I just hope England give it a proper go. Stop fannying about and play some effin' rugby!!

Wales have gone out for the BP and big points win - there is a Championship at stake and playing France in France.... Well. My issue is, they are completely different games - Wales have put zero players to the breakdown against Italy because they can, do that against France and we'll be on the reverse of a similar scoreline. Fitness is the key though, so keeping the team together and going through numerous backline and forward moves is an advantage leading to Paris....

A little too easy for Wales & a little pi$$ed off with LRZ for the bit of showboating for his (non-try 35th min) - no need for it, especially when you're four tries up.

I may have the garden :neener: (Oh, and stairs - though they're a bitch with my knees  ), but we certainly don't have the weather here - high winds, hail et al......

A low scoring, very boring English win would almost hand Wales the championship....

As a Welshman, how can I hope for an English win? As a rugby supporter, how can I not wish for a great game of rugby?

Let's just all hope for a great game!!
