Well done Man Utd

Post by higgy »

Champions again,that,s 9 in 15 years - fantastic achievement!
Well done Chelsea for keeping on our tails and making the title race interesting, they pushed us all the way.
I can,t wait for next season when I think it will between the same four teams who will all recruit and and push us harder.
Congratulations to Sir Alex for proving so many people wrong in writing him off 2 years ago.
Ronaldo deserves great credit for turning himself round and deservedly winning 3 awards.
Giggs has now 9 medals and has been an inspiration to the young lads, surely that haul will never be repeated.
I only hope on Wednesday that Chelsea form a guard of honour for United just as we did last year, they deserve it.
Glory! Glory! Man Utd.

I think wednesdays game will now be a relaxed one for united and I would expect a chelsea win. But it will be all guns for the F.A Cup final. Looking forward to that one. Would be nice to see a united win and chelsea ending up with only the milk or is that the egg cup this season :-) :D

Jimmy, yes I think you are right and don,t expect too many fireworks on Wednesday, both teams will have one eye on the FA Cup Final.
As for the final itself, difficult to predict,Chelsea are a fantastic side and Man Utd will have to be at their best to win it.That said it is the romance of the FA Cup which makes it fascinating and the best team do not always win.....remember 2 years ago when Arsenal beat Man Utd on penalties.
Should be an a drama filled game though.
Glory! Glory! Man Utd.

I hope it isn't. but I fear that the Final will be a tight, niggly game with lots of cards being dished out. I don't think Chelsea have taken losing well this season, and MU have a number of players who react (Rooney, Ronaldo, Scholes) and cause flare ups. A lot will depend on the referee.

fa cup final

Post by redzonerocker »

well done to man utd for winning the title & being the most consistent side throughout the season.
i think they have to do the guard of honour or they will enhance their reputation as sore losers.
think its chelsea for the fa cup though.

Yes, congratulations to Utd. Consistent throughout and if truth be told, played the most exciting football of the two (this year! :). I think Chelsea wil replicate the guard of honour which was much appreciated - and unexpected - when Utd did that after Chelsea had won the league. Or they will do something similar.

I think behind the scenes and all the verbals that Ferguson and Mourinho get on well together. They have both said as much and I expect Sir Alex will walk away with some examples of Portugals finest reds on Wednesday.
