Very sorry to hear that - I hope she's young enough to shake it off easily.

So two weeks. Or was she infected later by someone else who was also there on 30th? Hope she has a speedy recovery.GroveHillWanderer wrote:And .... after getting a high fever and being re-tested, she's now positive and is currently confined in the Hua Hin Commercial College.GroveHillWanderer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 1:16 pm One of my nieces was there. hhinner, we need you or one of the other clever people to explain the extent of the booze ban. I was in doubt regarding whether there was a total ban after reading the 'translation'. My daughter-in-law says definitely a booze ban, but I trust your translation better.

She's actually the same age as my daughter, 32 - so hopefully she'll have as mild a case of it as my daughter did when she caught it about a year ago.
At least my daughter's had both doses of the vaccine already, so should be OK from here on in.

Thanks for the good wishes. I think I've been getting her news with a few days delay, via intermediate relatives, so she may have actually tested positive a couple of days ago.hhinner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 7:48 pmSo two weeks. I can confirm 7-11s are still selling beer.Big Boy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 8:02 pm hhinner, we need you or one of the other clever people to explain the extent of the booze ban. [Edit] I'm now pretty sure the additional alcohol ban is restaurants are no longer allowed to serve alcohol.

Sorry about the above, please ignore the section 2 and 2.12 stuff.

Also gardening association is a mistranslation, obviously. Basically they're referring to various levels of local government such as kamnan, puyaibaan, etc.

Thank you for the confirmation.
I guess it'll be time to watch the restaurants get their tea pots out again, and watch Farangs disappear into back rooms again

I saw that too and wondered if it has anything to do with Mondays?
So Tuesdays figure is for Monday cases, then Wednesday for yesterday
I reckon Monday will be the busiest testing day after the weekend, hence the drop
Just a theory.....

Unless I’ve missed it, the one thing that’s missing is the number of people being tested - this would make the results much more meaningful.
