The WHO or maybe it should be called the WHAT, is about as useful as the UN and is just a toy for China to play with.

As it becomes clear that we are not alone in having to cancel vaccinations from the start of the national vaccination drive, with provinces such as Lampang and Udon Thani being in the same predicament, how can Hua Hin Recharge go ahead?

Headlines such as this indicate that we are likely to be cannon fodder to get the economy going.

PM puts focus on tourism

Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn said that from Oct 1, 10 provinces seen as popular tourist destinations will not have to impose Covid-19 quarantines on visitors.

The provinces are Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi, Chon Buri, Phuket, Surat Thani, Krabi, Phangnga and Buri Ram.

How?
Well I think it’s pretty clear that the only way they can (safely) open up any area to tourism, is by mass vaccination of the locals in those areas and therein lies the problem - if they can’t offer the vaccines, they won’t be able to invite tourists.

It’s still possible that vaccines will start to be delivered, but the signs are not very promising - we need to keep our fingers and everything else crossed!!

They may well open these provinces to tourists, but how many will come given that they will probably have to quarantine on their return because I'm pretty confident that, at current levels, Thailand will be a red or amber zone. Even if they are vaccinated they can still transmit to others.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's all a Gov psychological exercise. I think it's called "the power of anticipation". It stops those in the tourist industry from becoming hopeless. Recovery is right around the corner don't you know! I think the same method was used by the US Gov. during the Great Depression.

Food for thought.

Ivermectin obliterates 97 percent of Delhi cases

This is what happened to cases in the areas that chose Ivermectin:

Delhi : -97% [28,395 to 956]
Uttar Pradesh: -95% [37,944 to 2,014]
Goa: -85% [4195 to 645]
Karnataka: -60% [50,112 to 20,378]
Uttarakhand: -87% [9,642 to 1,226]

Observe what happened to those areas that DID NOT choose Ivermectin:

Tamil Nadu 173% [10,986 to 30,016]
Odisha 50% [4,761 to 7,148]
Assam 240% [1,651 to 5,613]
Arunachal Pradesh 656% [ 61 to 461]
Tripura 828% [92 to 854]

https://www.thedesertreview.com/news/na ... 25a08.html

Ivermectin is effective against all variants of coronavirus. Dr Pierre Kory who has been a pioneer of covid treatment strongly believes its use could end the pandemic.
