This is the best film I’ve seen since Call of the Wild.

Masterpiece.

Just finished it and really enjoyed it. Thought Emma Stone did a fantastic job as Cruella. Not everyone's going to enjoy this one, though. As evidenced by the mix of reviews.

Enjoyed 'Nobody', very John Wick indeed.

Something similar is 'Wrath of Man', Guy Ritchie directing, Jason Statham starring. Nothing too deep or gritty, just your regular Stathamesque gunfights and dialogue.

Cruella lined up for tonight.

Heads up that Spiral (from the book of saw) has come out for download on YTS. Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm a big fan of the 'torture porn' Saw franchise.

With this one they've strayed from their usual format and casted two very well known actors in roles (Tobin Bell and Donnie Wahlberg closest we got to that before). Those actors are none other than Chris Rock and Samuel L. mother fuckin' Jackson. :D 8)

📢 Whoop whoop, movie alert!

The latest entry from the conjuring universe, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is available for download in 720 with 1080 at 91%. Should be ready in the next 10 minutes or so.

Apologies, not a new movie release/recommendation.

Just came across this website which I found interesting. Compares Hollywood 'true story' movies to what actually happened. Was looking into the American Gangster movie about Frank Lucas when I bumped into it. Then read through the Captain Phillips comparison and The Big Short. Quite a good read.

The search function doesn't do what it should but you can click top left to open the list of what movies are there.

Been waiting over a year for this finally to come out!

A Quiet Place Part II

Not out for download on yts yet but I can wait no further and found a good copy on pirate bay. Only problem is a pissing website address (small) randomly in different areas of the screen. And some strange advert break about 5 mins in. I'm 30 minutes in now though and it's legit. Picture ain't quite a 1080 but it's fine.

Excellent movie. Any fans of the first film will enjoy this one. If you haven't seen the first you do really need to watch it before this. Bit annoying that there's a bit where the kids use sign language. No subs and didn't understand feck all of it so wasn't entirely sure why the hell the kid in it went off on the main mission of the movie.

Made sense by the end of it though. :D

Recommend. Guess it'll be out on yts soonish.

Edit: if anyone does decide to watch the pirate bay version, the website address eventually shifts to the right of the screen, rather than bang in the middle, and spends most its time there.

I thought I'd seen all Morgan Freeman's movies. I don't know how I missed this one with Angelina Jolie.

'Wanted' from 2008. Great movie and one to keep.

Download in 4K from YTS.

Just finished watching 'The Ice Road' with Liam Neeson.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and like most disaster movies, not a dull moment.
Only released this year.

Excellent, watching it now on Amazon Prime. Neeson's incredible, he must be 70-odd, but he's still a more than credible action hero, as well as a supremely reliable actor. I don't remember seeing a dud Neeson movie, and he must have made hundreds!

EDIT: I watched Cold Pursuit the other day, another Neeson film worth a look.

I'll definitely give it a go as I like Neeson and Fishburne but, after reading reviews, I'm going in with low expectations. :D

^^ Ballocks, the guy probably spends most of his time watching black and white art movies in Italian with subtitles. It is what it is, 90 minutes of light entertainment action. If you want something deep and meaningful, don't bother.

Movie reviews are more often than not one individual's opinion. I really take no notice. YTS features reviews and you'll often find the first review may give a 9 or 10 rating followed by a 1 or 2 rating from a different reviewer for the same movie.
I will admit to taking some notice of the IMDB rating as that is a summary of votes cast by a number of people.

It makes sense to make your own decision.
