No Topic

Post by Kraka's Dad »

How about a thread that has no topic so people can ramble on to their heart's content and nobody can complain that it is "Off Topic"
It could be interesting to see where it ends up?

It is cold wet and foggy here in Chester.
I don't care who wins the FA Cup or the Champions league.
Modern music is poo.
Hua Hin is great. Coming back in June :D
Love Schindler's List
Don't like Steve Martin films.

Just a few lines for people to latch onto.

According to Steve, it was written by John Lillison, England's Greatest One-Armed Poet, and the first pedestrian ever to be killed by a motorcar!

Speaking of birds, does any one know the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

John Lillison, England's Greatest One-Armed Poet...
Winkie, just out of curiosity, can you think of any other one-armed English poets?

I could only find one other fictitious one:

The Gift of Stones, by Jim Crace. (Scribner, 1988). In clear, quick, iambic—boned prose, Crace's remarkable novel tells the story of a one—armed poet in neolithic England.

And yes, I am bored!

Another bird:

Why does Donald Duck wear a towel when he comes out of the shower, when he doesn't usually wear any pants?

In Dillan's Grove

In Dillan's Grove my love did die,
and now in ground shall ever lie.
None could ever replace her visage,
until your face brought thoughts of kissage.

Died in the first car crash when a shire horse collapsed in front of his car and he was unable to stop.
