I fully understand your frustrations. Nobody was more frustrated than me waiting for Mrs BB's jab. It happened a few weeks late. Then, after what seemed like a lifetime, my jab came along, and when I checked the calendar it was only 3 weeks later than my original appointment. My advice is be patient, it will happen.

Any pre registration required and if so
any links?

I appreciate the limited qualification criteria mentioned further down the timeline

Thanks

No pre-registration as long as you qualify otherwise.

But to get in a queue of 500, what time will they start arriving - I reckon they’ll be there way, way before 1pm?

I think so too.

As Hhinner perceives, I'm not convinced I'll go yet.

But I wanted to avail myself of my options and really appreciate the info.

I'm sure that others are also looking at all their vaccine options including trips to Bkk with expat consular and BCCT if and when a slot comes available

Thanks all

If your getting a shot due to a medical condition, you have to bring proof of your medical condition.

expatvac.consular.go.th is NOT specifically Bangkok. You can register anywhere in the country and may not have to go to Bangkok. I'm not sure what the arrangements are for those outside Bangkok though.

From this I would surmise that due to a few no shows, they have 500 doses left over, and are giving away to walk ins.

Its gonna a take a month of Sundays before they start sending Pfizers and Modernas out to the boonies. Have registered anyway, but will refuse anything that wants to send me to Bangkok in what appears to be a very ill-thought scheme for those living elsewhere in Thailand (could probably handle a trip to HH, definitely PKK, but probably in 2022 some time at the rate they're going).

This will not include Moderna as that's only been ordered for private hospitals, and those hospitals appear to have been told they'll only get 60% of what they ordered.

Only the donated Pfizer may be included. Most likely the first jab will be Sinovac.

They can "stick" that as well then!

Oh, we have our fair share in the uk HHTel. The US just has more due to a bigger population. Have a read through comments on ANY covid related article on the daily mail. It's disheartening.

Then you have the likes of supposedly educated people like Piers Corbyn (the most punchable man on the planet, for me) spewing his covid conspiracy/anti-vax stuff in London protests.

We got our dumb dumbs. A LOT of them. :D

Exactly - and the point was amply demonstrated by the recent London anti-vaxxer protest. They decided to occupy the BBC headquarters to protest against what they claim is biased reporting by the BBC.

However they are so clueless that they went instead into a building that hasn't been the BBC HQ for around 13 years now.
