Tell me about it!

Having waited months for Pfizer, precisely 7 minutes after I was injected with Sinovac I got the e mail asking me to go to HHH for Pfizer the very next day(as opposed to going to Bkk twice for it)!!

Some of us are just unlucky!

HHTel, you may be lucky for your 2nd dose. The powers that be seem to be seeing how ludicrous it is people travelling to Bangkok for their jabs.

I read a few days ago that those who had their 1st jab at Bang Sue could apply to have their 2nd jab at their own province.

My eldest granddaughter is also having her 2nd jab moved here.

It seems she has to take her appointment and ID to HHH 1 to 2 weeks before her 2nd jab and they will arrange.

I have several other friends who used BCCT, and I've suggested they contact Jina to see if the same will apply for BCCT jabs - I don't see why not. I will let you know what response they get, but probably the more similar enquiries they get, the more likely it will happen. Drop her a line. I don't see BCCT will be put out if HHH have to do the work.

I had more or less given up to get any any Pfizer vaccine her and had as previously mentioned planned to go home to get vaccinated late this fall until I read through the above post's and see that Pfizer are in town so where do I start? I'm only registered with a hospital number at Bangkok Hua Hin hospital from some previous minor health issues and have never been to Hua Hin Hospital but would appreciate any information to at least get started even if I this time around probably are to late for a Pfizer jab.
Thank you, hahuahin

I think you need to register on the expatvac.com site. I read stories of people registering on the site this morning, and being vaccinated 90 minutes later at HHH.

Thanks for that, BB. I'll certainly drop her a line. As long as we can get AZ around the same time as we're due the one from BCCT, it'll certainly save some time and money.
My only concern will be inclusion of my daughter as she's well below the 'current' age limit. She's 32.

The wife's parents in Pathum Thani, were offered Sinovac back in June, but we told them to wait for the AZ Jab, which they did.
They had their first AZ jabs late June and are due their 2nd jab in late September.
Glad they didn’t go for the Chinese vaccine. 🤗
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

It is the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand who have helped many Expats to get vaccinated. I have heard nothing but praise for the team who have made this possible. They are based in Bangkok, which is where the vaccinations have had to take place.

I just saw on the Hua Hin CoVid-19 Community Support Group Facebook page that the MedPark Hospital is switching all 2nd dose AZ appointments to 12 weeks instead of 16, as per the announcement by the DDC on June 14.

Does anyone know anything about HHH doing the same? My wife had her 1st AZ dose on 7 June but her 2nd is still scheduled for 27 September as far as we know.

I asked about this when I got my first jab but the people giving the vaccinations said she should still wait for her scheduled appointment even though I told them the policy had changed.

I can't remember the exact detail, but I know the people who were vaccinated in the first batch (mass roll-out) had their 2nd appointments moved, and will be done at the same time as my wife (22nd June) on 14th Sept. It sounds as though your wife will fall into this bracket.

There was an official announcement, in Thai. Because of the language barriers, I don't think I copied it to this page.

If she's registered in Mor Phrom she can check in that. If she has a smartphone she can still register. Either use the app or LINE.

I tried to look at my vaccine record on Mor Phrom today. My phone forced me to do an update. Mor Phrom is now on it's back with it's legs in the air.

I uninstalled/re-installed, and although it now gives the illusion of working, requesting information throws up error messages.

Try LINE instead. That might work. Seems like IT just doesn't like you. Mutual I think.
