In my case, the "Fake ID" was created by Cha Am Hospital, not me. I'd very much prefer using my real ID, but those giving the vaccinations and making appointments simply will not do it.

I have the same problem, registering on the app with my real ID shows nothing - have yet to be issued the fake one but no doubt that will come after the 2nd jab in the land of over-complicating everything.

It's absolutely astounding, isn't it? And never more evident than during this pandemic. So many apps. So many vaccination protocols. So many places to register. So many widely variable and ever changing public health rules. So many re-opening schemes. Who could possibly keep track?

It just goes to show how stupid the system is. You registered with your pink card, but are waiting for your fake ID. I tried to register with my pink card, but it was handed straight back to and I was issued a fake ID.

Mor Phrom works for me with the pink ID number. We are presuming it will work for you using a fake ID.

Could you please share how you managed to cancel your Hua Hin Hospital registration? I have several friends who have tried and failed. The hospital say there isn't a way to do it. It was a feature that was subsequently built into Doctor Ready Prachuap.

/\ I didn't cancel my registration, I popped into the hospital even though I didn't have a vaccination date and told the girl on the desk that I had an appointment elsewhere. Up to her what she did with that information, very little I would guess as I keep getting messages to go and get jabbed. The point is I did what I could so that somebody else could benefit and resent those posters claiming an "I'm all right Jack" mentality! As for Med Park a cancellation E mail was promptly answered.

I had the same issue with trying to cancel my HHH appt. Other half phoned and was told not to worry as it would just be used by someone else.

It seems to me that those who did go out of their way to secure vaccines elsewhere, have actually freed up, albeit it in a small way, vaccines to be used locally.

Not really, it is being reserved for no-shows. Despite being fully vaccinated, I am still called every week because they are holding on to my vaccine.

/\ I'm not sure about that as evidenced by the few days that they have opened their doors to walk-ins. Unless you have inside knowledge to refute that. And remember, these vaccines have a limited storage life.

This is partly why Thailand is ignoring WHO and global guidelines and rushing the time between the two doses - that and to make the junta look better by hitting its target regardless of dishing out partially effective protection. :guns:

I know it's happening because they keep calling me.

I presume my vaccine that they have purchased for me today will go to a walk-in, and they will purchase another vaccine for me next week, the week after, the week after that, etc., etc.

Well it's happening for you, but it certainly isn't for me. Maybe your case is an odd one out? I had one reminder and then they stopped. I never heard from them again. Possibly because the same 13 digit number was used where I was vaccinated in Bkk?

Whatever, they won't be wasted.

I'm at HHH now, it being my wife's second injection. We got here at 10.30 and she just had the jab at 1.30. 3 hour wait! And still the after jab wait to go.
