Well, IMHO he didn't go up with his boot raised - he actually kicked out. Minimum 6 week ban, maybe more. Absolute joke for him to get zero......

A great deal of favouritism to NZ I feel.....

BB thumped all of us going with 37 points. I thought I was brave picking 31!  Congrats to BB!

NZ did that with what I would call their second team on the field in the majority.

Edit: Australia vs SAF up shortly. I've got The Wallabies by 3 in this one. Pent up frustration with their All Black losses, home country etc. I think they may just do it. We'll see..... :thumb:

Well, I was betting on a convincing win for the blackness, but seriously was not considering 39 to NIL!!

I dearly hope the Wallabies take the Boks today - purely as I can't stand the way SA are playing the game these days...

[EDIT] And Quade Cooper back in the mix..... :thumb:

Head before heart (I thought) and have SA by 9.... Still think it's going to happen, SA will prove too strong in the pack I think.

As an aside, I do like Luke Pearce as a ref (despite his Lillywhite connections) - having a very good game so far.

Reminder that the Premiership starts Friday evening with Saracens v. Bristol - 7pm UK time I think.

And I've asked my darling Alexa to remind me about Australia - S. Africa at 8 on Saturday morning (because I know you uncaring b*stards won't!).

Premiership Rugby: How will your team fare in the new 2021-22 season?

Premiership 2021-22: Saracens tipped for title challenge on return to top flight

I don't really have a personal allegiance when it comes to club rugby, which is a shame as I always enjoy a game more when there's something at stake for me.
I'm toying with Saracens and Harlequins at the moment, but can't make up my mind. Pietro, it would help if you could let me kow which would annoy you most...

Well, that's game 1 out of the way. I won't say too much in case you plan to watch it later. Suffice to say neither side was in danger of scoring a bonus point of any kind.

Keep upto date DM - you have the link https://www.wheresthematch.com/..... Come on man, use the "Grey Matter" (and there's me talking ( ).

Anywho....: -

Massive display from Australia, getting very bored with NZ results (but what can you say...)...

Big losses for Exeter and Bristol - BIG win for Leicester in turn

Well, crappy first half from Bath - good second half comeback, but come on!! That team on paper.... WTF is happening with coaching??!!

Personally, I hope Saracens get tw@tted in future matches, but we'll see...

Ahhh, the rugby season proper again!!

REMINDER DM!!!

I see that Simmonds has finally been called up to the England squad. I hope he does well.
