I won't name names, but I've just seen a local restaurant offering wine or beer as part of their set menu for 2nd November.

Do they know something we don't, or have I missed an announcement?

There's no shortage of places to get a drink. I think the police have pretty much taken a step back. I've already mentioned some bars north of HH with open bottles on the table.

It's pretty much 'business as usual' at my local. Around 20+ punters nightly with a busy pool table. I staggered back a couple of days ago at around 1:30 (suffered the next morning!). The owner posts pics daily on FB.

People have just got fed up with this lockdown.

No, we all know that HHTel, but actually advertising the fact on their official posters - it's taking the P a bit.

Posting his pictures on FB is also taking the P a bit/asking for trouble. I presume all alcohol is hidden inside cups/beakers, and there are no clocks visible.

I've mentioned several times "You're pushing it aren't you?'

Seems to have a deal with MIB. He was closed down a couple of weeks ago and was told to stay closed till the weekend then he can open. As long as his shutters are down by 8pm then it's business as usual. He has a selection of aluminium 'glasses'.

Even bars in Soi 80 are 'open' behind shutters which are pulled down to a foot or so of the ground.

Yes, they're all doing it. Actually, not all, my son was refused a beer 2 weeks ago in a place he'd been served many times before . No problem, he just moved on to the next bar, and won't go back to the place where he was refused.

Anyway, we're drifting away from subject here, so better
