Nice, you know Picard has started up with a second season also.

And you've got this kicking off next week: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2934286/

Just downloading Peacemaker from eztv.

Haven't seen any episodes yet, but it has an excellent 95% rating from Rotten Tomatoes.

By the way, it's superheroes, but a long way from Superman. Don't expect to take this too seriously...

I wouldn't rate it a keeper but very enjoyable.

Downloaded and watched it all

I suspected after episode 1 I wouldn't rate this highly, and I was right!

Reminded me of those Harlan Coben series on Netflix....alright, but certainly not 'good'. Quite corny really

6/10. Should've been 8 as very good story but production/direction was poor IMO

My recommendation to watch was no doubt influenced by comparing it to some of the opposition from the BBC - I’d still rather watch it that Peaky Blinders or Killing Eve!!

I watched The Teacher, a mini series shown on Ch5 earlier this year, last night. The IMDB rating was very poor, but I thought it was excellent.

Been watching a few episodes of "From" which is a little bit like "Lost". Its starting to fizzle out though, there is only so much plot you can make with monsters in the forest.

Yes, The Teacher is not to be confused with 'A Teacher' , the US show which had very good reviews on IMDB. Starred Kate Mara from House of Cards

I watched about 4 episodes(of A Teacher) and thought it was rubbish and binned it.

I did say confusing!

So have you watched The Teacher? It was so good (for me), I even switched my laptop off to concentrate on the TV. I couldn't understand the poor IMDB rating.

No I haven't but you've convinced me that it's worthy of a watch. Unlike 'A Teacher'(USA) which IMO is not but others may feel differently

I forgot to mention, for the sake of others who have seen neither, is that the basic story of both is about a female teacher who has intimate relations with a male 'minor' student(or at least is accused of this.....)

Which is quite topical as it seems to be in the news for real almost every month in the UK.

Crikey what different times we live in now. My gorgeous Biology teacher, who looked like Natalie Wood, drove a yellow MGB GT and wore knee length suede boots, never looked twice at me!

A question for buksida...................... I've at last started watching Foundation. The first 20 minutes are not very inspiring - does it get better please?

It does, but you need to have a sci-fi mind. Its not a drama about a fat detective traipsing around a wet Welsh field on a Wednesday morning looking for a corpse!
