I was 50/50 about downloading - I've just stopped it on 52% upon hearing about the subtitles.

You may have missed the post above, Pete. The yts download has large hardcoded subs on it apparently. And nah, was thinking of going to see it but then saw a shite review of it from Ginjaninja on here.

Just had a quick look - yes, subtitles, but the quality is good - whether or not the film is, is another question!! The hard subs are not bad IMHO, but each to their own... I'll give it a look for a bit!!

One I've been looking forward to and it didn't disappoint. The Black Phone. Very solid horror showing from Blumhouse starring Ethan Hawke.

Jurassic World : Dominion.

Crap, don't bother. I turned off just after the hour mark. Ginjaninja was spot on. Copies without the subs been about for 3/4 days on PB and think yts too, if you would like to waste your time.

I've still got it downloaded waiting to watch. Strangely enough, I've heard mixed reviews - about 30% saying the best Jurassic yet, with the rest agreeing with you and Ginjaninja. Nothing in between. The reason I haven't tried it yet is the length - a bit too long for me at 2:27. We had West Side Story downloaded for a long time for the same reason - dumped it 19 minutes in. So, we'll give it a go, but whether it beats 19 minutes waits to be seen.

Remakes seldom (ever?) surpass the originals. A Star is Born is another one. Judy Garland owns it. Then there are all the sequels, which are just rewrites of the originals and on and on.

The lack of creativity in the current cultural scene is depressing. Waiting for the next revolution. The last one was in the '60s.

Maybe if the US reinstitutes the draft and attacks a country, that will inspire creativity.

Jurassic Park Dominion:

YTS have now removed the hard subtitles. Their website states they are gone from the 720 and 1080 versions but doesn't mention the 4K version.
Consequently I've downloaded the 1080 version and can confirm that the subs have gone!
