JOBS YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO
The next time anybody brings up the subject of overpaid footballers you should consider the occupation in the newspaper cutting below.
At least there is a supply and demand in football. In the legal profession there is little demand and a vast supply. Almost anybody who can read and write could do this job. And then there is those little extra benefits.
The article made me laugh but reminded me why I pulled out of the UK tax system. I believe these funny hand shake old school tossers can do what they like. I am not funding it though.

jobs
obviously a place where all the dicks hang out then da?
Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
That would be designated hitters thank you
In the sport of baseball in the variation known as the American League they also allow what is known as the DH.
The DH is allowed to hang-on past their prime and have a their rips at the plate as well.
Prolong your career, and remain a valued member of the team by becoming a DH
Being a DH is an honor.

I was so horny when I woke up this morning the crack of dawn looked good!
What's that then?
A dead head?
Honestly, I don't know. Monty Panesar (that turbo charged person with a turban) who could turn the ball yesterday and skittle the West Indies out?
I think you're talking about baseball aren't you? Give me some overspin and compare that to a person who throws the ball down at a batsman.
You've got to be kidding. Number one, whilst the baseball moves in the air according to the "seam", so does a cricket ball. The big difference is that the cricket ball also moves off the ground.
So, a pitcher can do his stuff very well at 90 odd miles an hour. So can a bowler, but the latter throws it into the ground as well. Twice the movement at 90 odd mph.
Baseball is boring.

Ali Haji Sheik, how about a field goal kicker? or...
Hey now the post is about great jobs.
Designated hitter is one of them.
You show up, step up to the plate when your up and swing away hopefully to get the job the done. (regardless your still under contract) No fielding required, yet you collect a fat paycheck.
Hmm, turbocharged turbans?, as in forced induction?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one.da wrote:Hey now the post is about great jobs.

You don't understand cricket. Than again, maybe I don't as well over 5 days with the ball swinging as well as it did.
I think Monty is a Sikh. His family came from the Punjab. And he wears a turban, sometimes.
He still sends it down the wicket at 60mph and spins the ball. Can a baseball player do that? I doubt it.
