.....could be tonight's "Movie Night" with the LHG... Looks good.
LHG is actually back from China? I though she may still be locked up over there due to Covid and not allowed to leave the country. Glad to see all has now returned to normal.

The reviews I’ve seen don’t rate the film very highly so it will be interesting to hear your views PH?
No, the reviews haven't been the best, but then again I've seen great reviews for films and then watched an absolute stinker.
Having seen a couple of previews for Beast, I'm hoping for the best - plus Idris isn't half bad..

Thanks Pete She/we were lucky in that she managed to get out of China missing the "next" round of Covid cr@p and (just) the lockdown/restrictions on flights due to the war in Ukraine. A week or so either way and could well still be there

Had not heard about this one, but has good reviews and having watched the previews, looks like a good one....
Think you're in the wrong thread here, Pete. But... good movie really enjoyed it. Very different. Directed by the same dude who brought us the amazing Mad Max: Fury Road.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

DOH! Please move mods.
Didn't realise the Mad Max link though.... Looking forward to it.

In honour of James Bond Day, Prime has all (I think) of the Bond films, and I've stumbled across one that, much to my surprise, I've never seen before, No Time to Die. It's Roger Moore's last film in 1985 (when he was getting on for 60!). He's way down on my Bond list, but it's fascinating to note how much times and attitudes have changed since I was in my late 20s - some of the innuendo is quite amusing (to me...), but would be totally unacceptable today!

I think you mean “A View to a kill”, as No Time to Die was the latest film with Daniel Craig.
One of Roger Moore's James Bond movies was filmed here in Bangkok. Don't remember the name but had longtail boats jumping over roads, and I think some crazy retired US cop chasing him.
