It's great that this was done, just wish there was more education to prevent why this is needed.
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

Are the heroes still active? The activity here seems to be very low.
Re: Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero
Yes, they are still busy most Sunday afternoons.

OK, thanks! I miss the updates here. At least the location of the upcoming event maybe could be posted?
Re: Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero
OK, I will resume. I don't expect an event this week.
Re: Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero
There is no clean up planned for this coming Sunday.

Please keep us posted about this group as I would be willing to help. I was down the beach alone last week and tried to clean some of the rubbish up. But it was an impossible task for one person.

I'm new to this thread.. what a great idea! Glad someone is keeping trash off the beaches, thanks for all your efforts!
Can I ask about the brown water along the main Hua Hin beaches? As far as I could determine last visit, the way it was explained to me was that because of the beach horse riding services, the horse poo is left on the beach and often not collected. Tides come and go and mix the poo up and result in brown pools of water in places.
Is this actually what is happening? Are there efforts to change this, get the operators on board to stop this happening? It seems such a blight on what are otherwise wonderful beaches along this stretch.
