Just read about a Netflix series called 'Beef', apparently the best thing since bread you don't have to slice yourself.

Scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, available to download on PB. Not seen it yet so make your own mind up.

Can't say the trailer leaves me desperate to watch it, but then again I'm not much for sliced bread either! :D

I've just finished a 6-episode series on iPlayer called Blue Lights.

I'd seen it advertised and wasn't particularly impressed, but it popped up as an automatic follow-on from something else and I got hooked. It follows some rookie cops in modern day Belfast and IMO is worth a look.

Binge watched the "Night Agent" over the last week or so.... Certainly enjoyed it enough to be looking forward to Season 2 (unfortunately not expected until 2024 though :( ). Plenty of action with a few twists lobbed in for good measure: -

I concur with my learned friend. Not a world-beater, but entertaining enough.

Will have a look at that one, cheers.

Heard that The White Lotus season 3 is set in Thailand so decided to find out what all the fuss was about. Must admit, S01E01 wasn't convincing. Its a kind of cheesy American version of Fawlty Towers in the tropics with weak, self-obsessed characters that seem to appeal to Millennial viewers. But there were a few nice asses so will endure episode 2 hoping it improves!

A guilty pleasure is "Lucifer" a six season show about the devil coming up to Los Angeles on vacation (read lot's of sex, drugs and alcohol). He hooks up with a lady detective and assists her on the cases. Funny, easy watch.

Yes, I have to confess the trailers left me wondering what all the fuss was about. I'll wait to see how you get on before I take the plunge.

Finally got around to watching this.
Incedible footage and a must for any music fan.
3 episodes, and explains the lead up to their last ever performance together. The rooftop gig in London.

I can remember watching the rooftop performance live on the TV as a teenager - London was complete mayhem!!

Yes, must admit to enjoying Lucifer myself  !! Will have to get back to it as I'd stopped watching around Season 3.... I believe there are 6 Seasons.

Another one that's entertaining without being... well... Mandalorian. It's a while since I watched. I remember a cute - if precocious - kid, a very sexy demon, and wishing Lucifer and the detective would just get on with it and rip each other's clothes off!

I've just started watching Black Summer on Netflix (zombies - recommended by my sis and bro-in-law who have zombie tendencies) and The Tudors on All4.

BETTER(BBC 2022)

A female Detective Inspector from a northern UK city( Leeds) is corrupt and works with a local drug dealer.

However she feels guilty about this and tries to repent.

Some of acting was poor especially the lead actress who I found VERY unconvincing. The odd scene or two were good though

And I will also say that 'Better got better' towards the end, but still came up short for me.

6.5/10
