Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
If you like a musical there are two seasons of Schmigadoon! available, very loosely based on the 1950s film Brigadoon!
Doesn't take itself seriously and gave me quite a few laughs.

Not a great deal about at the moment with Silo ending but Foundation will start season 2 on July 14.
Also been watching Mayans MC which is a follow-up to Sons of Anarchy.
For Walking Dead fans there is yet another spinoff with Walking Dead: Dead City, currently three episodes in.
Will give Hijack with Idris Elba a go also.
All available on eztv.re.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
I watched the first 2 episodes. It's not a particularly original premise for a TV thriller and there is the usual occasional cliche, along with some totally irrational behaviour by the pilot (without which, of course, there wouldn't have been much of a storyline...). Having said that, I like Idris Elba, and it's interesting enough for me to keep going.
Episodes are coming out weekly, so I'll probably wait for the rest. Should have done that with Silo. Thanks for the reminder, downloading the last 2 episodes now.

Loki and Hawkeye - good.
Ms Marvel and Moon Knight - so bad I forgot I'd started watching them before...

Watched that episode again last night, definitely better 2nd time arounddtaai-maai wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 1:01 pm Maybe I'll jump in and try season 6 then. I watched S1 Ep1, the one with the pig-shagging PM, all the way through, mainly because I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing, and never bothered after that.

A strange one I watched was Cowboy Bebop. Patterned after the Japanese comic version (Oh-oh). It's a strange show of 2 bounty hunters and sidekick in the future. Weird, funny, violent. Not sure why but I watched all 10 episodes and enjoyed them.

You might also like the animated series Hit Monkey, also set in Japan.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Thanks!, the one I watched was a remake of the cartoon, so not a cartoon. It starred James Cho. Found it on Netflix.sateeb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 5:07 pmYou might also like the animated series Hit Monkey, also set in Japan.![]()

SUCCESSION
I have just completed the final series (4)of this drama
Firstly to say I enjoyed the first 3 seasons so much I ranked them in my all time top ten dramas!
But this last season was really disappointing. I truly wish they hadn't made it, but instead finished after 3 seasons and gone out on a high.
What a pity!

It's worth a look IMHO. I kept watching after the first episode without knowing why, but happy I did.

A DO NOT watch is The Gallows Pole. Appalling dog's dinner made of a beautiful book, and full of effin' and jeffin'.

The Crowded Room
Storyline
Danny Sullivan is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. Through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin, Danny's life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation
One of the best series this year imo. Based on the true story of Billy Milligan.
Each episode gets better.
