Agree with everyone loves the oldies looking back through those rose tinted specs. Im to young to yearn after the older brits Hahaha but one of my favourite bikes was the Kawasaki H1 500 triple , a few years back I had the chance of getting one at a good price , it was like riding a camel no wonder they had two steering dampers , im no hero but could feel the flex in the frame, kept it a while looking at it but eventually thought sell it and move on.
New bike are so much better at doing the job.
Looking at buying a speed triple myself.

The beast is here!!!!
Hi Rob I looked at a KH750 " the widow maker " a few years back. A beautiful looking bike and awesome in a straight line. Just stopping and going round corners let it down. Ended up with the Suzuki 750 " Kettle " Another nice bike just let down by it boiling up. I had a few diehard Brit bike friends who would go on runs. They spent a great deal of the trip by the side of the road either cleaning the carbs or plugs or stopping every few miles to top up the oil. To them though it was part of the joys of owning a british bike. The new look Bonnevilles and Thruxtons look the same but have reliable engines that dont rattle your bones to bits, good brakes and electronic ignitions. Give me modern bikes anyday. I see you are in Blighty. I dont miss the looking out for the speed cameras or the freezing rain and extortionate insurance premiums. Give me LOS anyday. Stay upright all

I never forget a face but in your case I'll make an exception!
Im actually working in Singapore and have an zephyr 750 here , wanted a bike that was ok in traffic, and did not want to spend too much as will have a problem selling so i bought cheap and can afford to give it away at the end of the job if need be.
But they have the speed cameras and red light cameras here as well.
But it is warm
