Confirmed, Tuchel will be relieved of his duties as Bayern manager at the end of the season. After 11 or 12 seasons of Bayern Munich league champions, Leverkusen (nicknamed 'neverkusen' in Germany) are 8 points ahead and in prime position for an upset.
Feel so bad for Harry. The 'no trophies' stick he's gonna get if they don't win anything...

Kane may still get a trophy, if he is the top scorer in BL at the end of the season. I'm sure, he'll be proud seeing what the trophy looks like.

Regarding Kane and clubs during his time with them not winning trophies, the phrase "Common Denominator" comes to mind...

Former QPR and England player, Stan Bowles has died age 75.
I can remember watching him and Rodney Marsh entertaining the crowds at Loftus Road back in the 70’s. Definitely one of the most gifted players to grace the game (almost at the level of George Best). RIP.

It's a match I probably would have watched being a (lax) supporter of "The Reds" (be fair, Scarlets, Wales.... ), but alas my dear LHG had given a few guidelines... Rugby of course took Center Stage and as such I missed the match. I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned on the forum, but then again Spurs weren't there I suppose

I managed to glimpse the 3 minutes highlights on Sky this morning - certainly a lively game with both sides having chances to score but a combination of woodwork, VAR and good goalkeeping kept it to the narrow 1-0 win for Liverpool - probably deservedly so, but a reasonable reflection of the closeness between both teams - Liverpool were seriously reduced from their strongest team, so full credit to them.pharvey wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:48 am It's a match I probably would have watched being a (lax) supporter of "The Reds" (be fair, Scarlets, Wales.... ), but alas my dear LHG had given a few guidelines... Well, as "shocking" as it may be for the poor dear, it might just put a dent in his wage packet!

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I've seen this chart bandied about for a few days. It says a lot about the difference between the Premiership and the Championship. Kudos has to go to Ipswich though for mounting such a serious challenge on a virtual shoestring.
As for my team,

Which one is Norwich? I think they've been up/down twice now in the last few seasons and like to see what they're spending for their next attempt?

Premier League as well. This will probably cause some bitter discussion regarding this table of quality fans (as opposed to the plastic/armchair variety). I wouldn't say I agree 100%, but I'd put it pretty close.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I dont understand it all.
Quality based on what criteria? Who is the arbiter?
If it was based on violent fans over the years, then based on personal experience as well as recorded incidents, I would have Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Leeds and Bristol City, as the worst of the worst!
