Tottenham have signed 18 year old Archie Gray for £40 million! Exciting signing that, hope it pays off.

He does look like quite a prospect. Quite a footballing pedigree, paricularly with Leeds Utd. I suspect the only reason we got him is that Leeds didn't make it up to the Premier League.

Him and his family are big fans of Postecoglou apparently. Celtic supporters (noone's perfect).

Changing times at Manchester United. I wish Ratcliffe success with the serious business mind he seems to have.

United have made a couple of excellent buys already and player terms agreed for a third good signing. Think they might be up in the Champion's League spots again.

Meanwhile Spurs have enquired about Scott Mctominay. :banghead:

They seem to be starting off where they left off last season concerning injuries.

/\ Same old same old for Man U I'm afraid. Onana still a clown, milk still turns faster than Harry Maguire, Antony should be serving time for obtaining monies by deception and Casimero/Rashford content to stroll around the park!!

Man Utd are top of the Premier League after beating Fulham 1-0 last night, but judging by the reports it won’t last very long!!

Man U were lucky, Fulham were the better team for much of the game. They deserved a draw, at least, but they can't complain too much as they were not good enough in front of goal.

A number of predicable results from yesterday’s games = Liverpool and Arsenal looked very comfortable, Everton looked just the opposite. Newcastle were both fortunate and unfortunate - they were outplayed for much of the game after having a player sent off, but the Southampton player Diaz reacted like a 6 year old girl after the most minimal contact to get Newcastle’s Schar sent off.

Let’s see how Chelsea do against City later today!!

My dear Dannie Boy, on behalf of my numerous lady friends (in the local knitting circle) I must protest your use of the word 'girl' in this context - this is discriminatory and extremely offensive, not to mention condescending to those delightful creatures who make up the fair sex, bless their little cotton socks.

Incidentally, I hope I can rely on your support for my campaign in the forthcoming election for moderator, a position to which I have long aspired. I believe I can make a huge and positive contribution to the forum, and it is, quite frankly, long past time pharvey received his marching orders and returned to the ranks.
