She certainly will have done and could have done things a little better IMHO, But as PeteC mentioned, you can't really blame her with her 4th Round Singles match the following day - which unfortunately for her proved to be her last at this year's tournament.

Although to an extent I can understand her reasoning, playing with Murray was a one-off never to be repeated opportunity, that IMO should have taken precedence over her singles match, which if she knuckles down will be available many times in the future!!

Sentimentality is not high up on her list - nor at times is hard work/"knuckling down" I fear. She's actually played some decent tennis this tournament and I really hope it continues. However, like all (true) professional sport, her tennis requires immense commitment - something I don't believe she's honestly giving due to other "distractions"...

Couldn't agree more! :thumb: I've been meaning to say for some time that her New York win may turn out to have been a flash in the pan. She's done precious little since then.
This is the way

You’re obviously overlooking her winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award and an MBE 😉 - just goes to show how cheap these awards are these days!!

Hell, the first game is taking an age!! COME ON ALCARAZ!! :thumb:

Sorry, but Djokovic is in the same obnoxious tw@t (but obviously very talented) group as that Dire Dutchman in F1 is.

Double Fault for the arogant one, double break for the Spanish one.... Great stuff, 4-1 :thumb:

Hopefully for the Three Kittens, this isn't going to be a complete day for the Spanish!!

Truly enjoyed seeing Novak stuffed in the first two Sets, but he's giving a fight in the 3rd...

Hell of a 3rd Set - going to a Tiebreak, but Goodbye Farewell, Adieu to the arrogant one! :thumb:

Class player, but obnoxious and arrogant beyond - a 21 Year Old now takes the crown and thankfully seems to be a decent and humble guy.
