The fourth line is meant to rhyme with the third?

Sorry, I think the almost triple length third line put me off.

I'll give up on this thread

In Hua Hin to get something done
You have to go out in the sun
But be careful if your hair has started to thin
Or else you definitely won’t grin

Bless you Dannie Boy, you're a good trier.
Limericks are short rhyming verses with the following rhyme scheme: AABBA. The first two lines typically have 8-9 syllables, while the third and fourth lines are 5-6 syllables. The fifth line traditionally has 8-9 syllables as well.
Just for some encouragement here buddy. :D

In Hua Hin, to get something done
You have to go out in the sun
But if you are bald
You'll be quite appalled
At the terrible risks you will run.
This is the way

So you read the tone of the post completely the wrong way then. That's a you problem not a me problem.

Apologies to Dannie Boy if you're also devoid of light-hearted banter.

Cheer up, DM christ.

May I kindly put forth a new limerick (and also apologise for any misunderstanding )

If Lost and DM were to fight
Would wisdom or youth help their plight?

If Lost and DM were to fight
Would wisdom or youth help their plight?
But if the same age
I would certainly wage
That my might would make Lost die of fright.

If Lost and DM were to fight
Would wisdom or youth help their plight?
But neither is young
So no songs will be sung,
Let's just put an end to this shite,
