'Those About to Die' is out. Anthony Hopkins in it, mixed reviews. Looks great. Trailers can sometimes show the only good bits in a series over a couple of minutes though.
Yep, seen it advertised and does indeed look worth the watch..

Damn you with the Anti-Welsh!! You know you are banned from certain areas/stadiums already!!

How very dare you, sirrah! I'll have you know that the Hopkins is my favourite actor. I even saw him on stage in the West End in M. Butterfly back in 1990 (or thereabouts). A hugely talented man only slightly let down by the fact that he doesn't particularly like rugby (apparently).

Almost all big names sometimes take parts for the money, turning a blind eye to the product. Those bills don't pay themselves!
Very true, many a very decent actor in many a "poor show"... Michael Caine comes to mind (although thankfully has redeemed himself).
"Our Tony" (Hopkins) is a class actor - and only dislikes rugby since I side-stepped him in a charity match whilst using my crutch.... It's all hearsay and hush-hush though

Jeremy Irons bought a large castle in West Cork. When asked why he acted in Dungeons and Dragons a movie less thought of than his others he replied. "Are you kidding? I'd just bought a castle, I had to pay for it somehow!"

He was in Solace which was very poor. Also Freud's Last whatever it was, which was a grind for me. He's great, no doubt about it but can't always lift a film out of the depths.
Caine does sometimes just sign for the money, he's amusing when he admits it in interviews, but he's not in the same league as Hopkins.
I started on Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 which seems to be another extension of Yellowstone with Kevin Costner all set in the 1860s. Its a three hour marathon and a little slow at times but good for those who enjoy westerns.
Snowpiercer season 4 has also just started.

Is Horizon a film or a series?
