A light hearted bit of trivia that I learnt about today. In Liverpool there is a shopping centre called Liverpool One. Within the shopping centre there is an Everton supporters shop called Everton Two. The address of the supporters shop is:

After winning their last 5 home games and avoiding relegation relatively comfortably, I did say that despite this Everton would be in a relegation battle from day one of this season

Well I’m sure it wasn’t me, all I said was that I was confident they would avoid relegation last season, but so far this season, they’re looking to make your fears come true!!

Elsewhere, Man Utd got beat by Brighton - bit of a topsy turvy game but in the end Brighton probably deserved the win.

Arsenal won, but Villa could easily have got the result.

Man City have started ominously well, so may not have to rely on a strong finish to the season to lift the title again?

Man City Haaland is an anomaly. What will they be later in the season if he's injured or simply gets bored. I feel as time goes by the more and more they rely upon him isn't good for the team, and they could crash if he isn't there.

Most teams have what I will call an out and out striker, but it’s often difficult to have more than one in the same team, so it’s a case of hoping that the main man doesn’t get serious injuries and that his backups can adequately fill the gap while he’s out.

Quite the second half there caller!! Blitz. City looking favourites early doors. Arse also up there and finding a way to win a tricky game. Pool starting well under new management, massively important to hit the ground running. Spurs look to be much more successful against low blocks albeit end product very lacking in the first game. United 11th.

Quite the second half there caller!!

After the horror show of the first half, it needed to be. We do miss Chalobah, who helped shore up the defence in the 2nd half of last season after he returned from injury. And Cucarella was only bought for silly money as cover for Chilwell, athough he did have a decent 2nd half of the season to get into Spains euro squad. But he'll soon resort to cover for new guy, who off the top of my head, I can't name! But he's about 10 foot tall and built like a brick s**thouse, and fast!

When he was banned was he still getting paid? Maybe needs to top up the bank balance? Could've certainly done a job for several Prem clubs for a couple of seasons

Haaland continued his goal scoring spree yesterday with yet another hat-trick, his 11th since joining City!!

Elsewhere, somehow Everton managed to lose against Bournemouth after being 2-0 up until the 87th minute. Only saw the BBC highlights but Everton missed a hatful of chances to secure victory!!

Nothing much else very noteworthy, other than Rice getting a second yellow card and getting sent off for kicking the ball less than a metre!!
